Tamarindo in the web

"Tamarindo Costa Rica Information"

Tamarindo Beach is a culturally diverse surfing village located on Costa Rica's northwest Pacific Coast. Because of its many restaurants, quaint shops, world-renowned surfing conditions and laid-back culture, Tamarindo is a popular destination for tourists.
There are numerous accommodation options in Tamarindo Beach. Some of these options include luxury and economy hotels, bed and breakfasts, apartment and condo rentals and waterfront villas.
Tamarindo Beach is famous for its vibrant sunsets, which boast vibrant pinks and yellows over a panoramic Pacific Ocean view. Day tourists should keep this in mind when making taxi arrangements back to their accommodations outside of town.

"How to Have Fun in Tamarindo, Costa Rica"

For such a small stretch of land, there are many hotels including some chains as well as condos which offer rentals. You may also want to check out one of the smaller bed and breakfasts for a more personal touch. Wherever you decide to stay you will be greeted warmly and treated as a special guest by these friendly and outgoing people.

"Surf Resorts in Costa Rica"

On the northern Pacific coast of Costa Rica, you'll find the Playa Tamarindo, home of the Tamarindo surf Camp. If you like some nightlife to go with your surfing, this is the place for you. The Playa Tamarindo gets more traffic from surfing vacationers than almost any other location in Costa Rica, thanks to easy road access and proximity to San Jose, the capital city. You'll enjoy oceanfront hotel rooms at Tamarindo, with a beach well-suited for beginners and intermediates. More advanced breaks can be found nearby, and Tamarindo offers guided tours to them. Whatever your level, you'll find good waves and instruction to match to your skill level.

"Top 10 Best Costa Rica Destinations"

Perhaps no spot in Costa Rica breeds as much divisiveness between frequent visitors to the country. For some Tamarindo is the ultimate party town, with great beaches, and is an excellent place to learn to surf. The naysayers will claim that Tamarindo is growing too fast, is noisy, dirty and ugly. I heard these same arguments when I first visited Tamarindo several years ago, and the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Yes, Tamarindo is growing fast, and the infrastructure is certainly suffering as a result. However, don’t expect skyscrapers and luxury resorts going up everywhere. This is still very much a sleepy village when compared to party towns in countries like Mexico. Tamarindo is definitely worth a visit if it is your first time traveling in Costa Rica. Not only does it have the beautiful beaches and great surfing, if you fly into Liberia International Airport you can be on the beach and relaxing in less than an hour. My recommendation: spend a couple days in Tamarindo acclimatizing to the culture. After that, you’ll have seen all you need to, and can avoid this party town on future visits.
